Common use

Darunavir is prescribed for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and children over a certain age, usually in combination with other antiretroviral medications. It is a protease inhibitor that blocks the activity of HIV protease, an enzyme critical for viral replication, helping to control the infection and maintain immune function.

Dosage and direction
